VidaShield UV24 Overhead Air Purification System With LED Light

VidaShield UV24 is a fast, 24/7, active air purification system that uses UV-C to reduce bacteria and fungi from the air. This patented device is uniquely designed by combining an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) chamber and air circulating fans with an overhead ceiling light. No engineering controls are needed to operate VidaShield UV24. Simply wire it up, plug it in and you are on your way to treating the air. VidaShield UV24 reduces the levels of bacteria and fungi in treated air and reduces the settling of viable bacteria and fungi from treated air on surfaces. The innovative design allows for 24/7 operation in occupied spaces. The system can treat a volume of air equivalent to an 8’ x 10’ x 10’ room four times per hour. Conveniently installed in ceilings, VidaShield UV24 is an unobtrusive space saver. VidaShield UV24 is designed for use in hospitals, long term care facilities, nursing homes, schools, commercial office buildings and any other location where cleaner environmental air is desired.

How UV24 Works

1. Air containing airborne microorganisms is drawn into system through a discreet vent opening on the face of the fixture.
2. A replaceable MERV6 filter sits just inside the vent opening and captures large particulates such as dust.
3. The fans create differential pressure to continuously draw 50 CFM of air into fixture.
4. Safety baffles guide microorganisms through the UV-C chamber and prevent UV-C leakage into the room.
5. The ultraviolet lamp operates at 253.7 nanometers, reducing bioaerosols from room air 24/7.
6. Treated air is pushed through the second set of baffles.
7. A 30-degree angle on blades of the exit vent disperses treated air evenly throughout the room.
